BANGLADESH and POVERTY

A research report placed Bangladesh ahead of India and china in poverty reduction scorecard. The country ranked 13th among the 29 other vulnerable countries in terms of combating hunger by successfully reducing its rate over the last few years. it made remarkable progress in reducing the number of chronically food insecure citizens- from 40 million to 27 million- over the last decade. But still. Bangladesh has the third highest number of hungry people in the world after India and china party because of its large population, Higher unemployment and maternal mortality rates are major threat to achieving the millennium development goals (MDGs) by 2015.there has been slow employment growth at the national level as the adult employment rate was 58.5 percent in2006 with only 1.1 percent annual growth rate in last six years.
40percent people of our total population are living in below the poverty line among them 50 percent are severely suffering from poverty. Main causes are country economic condition, social causes such as early marriage, marriage (with forceful gift), unemployment, corruption, and political instability, etc.About more then 700 million working manpower are living in Bangladesh, but more then half of them are not satisfied with their enumeration of their job. They are not at all satisfied with their monthly or daily salary
